REVIEW: Kao Prettia Bubble Hair Dye in Royal Brown

I've been itching to dye my hair since high school.. Now that i'm in college i can finally dye my hair! But then again, i don't have the budget to go to the salon and nobody want to dye my hair!!
(lazy bums.. -_-)

THE SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM:

The kit contains the following:
  • Solution 1 - 40mL
  • Solution 2 (Developer) - 60mL
  • Leave in hair conditioner - 4g
  • 1 pair of protective gloves
  • Foaming nozzle
  • Instruction sheet

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
The instructions, obviously, are in Japanese, but the instructions are also illustrated. All you have to do is:

  1. Pour contents of Solution 1 into Solution 2.
  2. Screw on pink foaming nozzle.
  3. Gently tilt mixture back and forth a few times. DO NOT SHAKE.
  4. Dispense foam by squeezing bottle.
  5. Apply evenly to dry hair and let sit for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Wash dye out and apply the included leave in conditioner to hair.

Solution 1 and Solution 2 mixed up
Fun bubble action!

REMEMBER: Throw out any left dye.. It wont work after its been used!

MY THOUGHTS: I think the product is the best choice for noobies like me.  Its so fun and easy to use and best of all.. YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF!

At first i wasn't really satisfied because i thought that it was uneven and the smell of the ammonia was too strong for me when i was applying the dye on my hair. But as seen in the picture the color is even.

The dye didn't leave my hair dry and after putting on the leave-on it gave my hair a nice shine and made my hair smells real nice!

The best part is that my friends keep on asking me where did i dyed my hair and if I 3D dyed it! it seems that my hair changes color when i'm under sunlight. From dark brown (indoors) to light brown (outdoors).

THE VERDICT: I would definitely purchase this product again! I'll try the other colors. I'm eyeing Natural Ash or Antique Rose..

How about you? Did you already tried Prettia?

CHEAT: Nude Pink Lips

I've always wanted to have the same look as Tsubasa Masukawa.. I really like her and her style.. So very cute and doll like..

I was so attracted to her lips and decided to buy the stuff she's using. Unfortunately, her stuff is not available in our country. It is available online though but i don't have the money to buy it since it was so expensive. So, being the cheapskate that i am i decided to mimic the look.

I used:

Lipbalm, Color Me Nude lip concealer, Nyx megashine in beige

First, put on some lip balm so that your lips is moisturized and lip balm helps the lip concealer or foundation to stick unto your lips. You can scrub your lips before putting on the lip balm if you want to.

Second, conceal your lips with a lip concealer OR you could use foundation or any concealer you prefer.  I used Etude House Color Me Nude lip concealer. Which by the way, is a great product and really conceals my lip color. I have a very pigmented lips. Its very cheap. It has no scent and does not irritate my lips.  Down side is that it dries my lips. That's why i always put on my lip balm first. Another is that it makes my lips look dead if i use too much. But overall, i still like this product. Moving on! Here's a sample pic of what it looks like on my lips.

Third, apply your favorite pink lip gloss. I chose Nyx Megashine Lipgloss in Beige because the color is nudy pink which i think is perfect for the look! I'ts very moisturizing and smells like bubblegum (YUM!). The only downside of it is that it's very sticky. I don't wear it especially on windy days.

See! It's easy as 1,2,3! It does not last the whole day and settle on lines. But hey! I only use this look for pictorial so it's okay. Doesn't cost me a thing! I hope this helps! Comment me if it worked for you or not! Thanks for reading!

Take care,
